Hi there—and welcome.
This space began, as most good things do, with a quiet thought that wouldn’t go away: What does it mean to parent, play, and grow in a world moving faster than ever?
I’m a parent to two wonderful boys—aged 6 years and 8 months—and someone deeply curious about the intersection of technology, childhood, and intentional living.
Lately, I’ve been exploring how AI can support—not replace—the messy, beautiful work of raising children. Sometimes it’s practical (like using AI to plan meals or spark a bedtime story). Sometimes it’s philosophical (like wondering what kind of world we’re preparing our kids for).
Being deeply embedded in the tech world, I recognise the immense potential technology holds. However, I also believe that it’s crucial to balance the digital with the tangible, ensuring our kids develop critical thinking and creativity without becoming overly reliant on screens.
Here, you’ll find:
Reflections on parenting in the digital age
Creative ways to use AI as a tool for play and support
Insights into fostering critical thinking alongside technological exposure
Prompts, tools, and ideas to make parenting a little lighter (and sometimes more fun)
Occasionally, I might meander into my previous life in tech for a teachable moment too.
Whether you're here as a parent, a tech enthusiast, an educator, or just someone trying to raise good and kind humans in a rapidly changing world, I'm glad you're here.
Grab a cuppa and let’s talk about the things that matter, slowly. On weekends. Together.
